This year is of to... a start. It's a little over a month into 2018 and the chaos that is my life hasn't ceased. As a way of starting of the new blog year, I'm going to give a quick little update on what to expect from this blog this year.
I'm still with the Sierra Jazz Singers, and I am very much excited to continue to work with these talented individuals. Our set this semester is lively, different, and will challenge us all. In addition to the ensemble, I am in the applied music program at Sierra, which means I will be receiving private vocal lessons and building a solo repertoire. I'm excited about the direction my teacher wants to take with me, and I'm excited to have more solo opportunity
As far as pole vaulting is concerned, I don't know what to expect. As of now, I don't have a competition schedule. Regardless of what meets do or don't happen, I will spend a majority of it getting myself up to the level that will allow me to succeed at the next level.
God willing, the next level is going to be... GLORIOUS!
I plan to make this blog the main source of finding out about my life, and I plan to have a new post every Sunday. Make sure to hit that follow button so you never miss a beat!
This spring will determine the next step, and I will give more information on that soon, I promise. Until then, just know that I will keep on going, because there's just no telling how far I'll go!
